FAKOLITH FK 14 – Antifungal solution for reliable remediation of mould-infested substrates.

PHASE 2 of the FAKOLITH 3-PHASE SYSTEM.

Intended use

FAKOLITH FK 14 is an aqueous dispersion for the remediation substrates affected by mould in interior and exterior areas. FAKOLITH FK 14 reliably destroys the cell structure of the fungal mycelium in the substrate. FAKOLITH FK 14 is chlorine-free and odourless. The anti-fungal solution develops its fungicidal effect within 48 hours and has no prophylactic effect.

In preparation for the application of FAKOLITH FK 14, it is important to clean the mould-infested substrate. Wet cleaning with FAKOLITH FK 12 (PHASE 1) removes surface deposits and optimally prepares the substrate for subsequent treatment with FAKOLITH FK 14 antifungal solution (PHASE 2).

Processing

  • Processing from + 6°C
  • Process undiluted
  • Brush, roll or apply by airless spray method
  • No rewashing
  • Drying time before recoating approx. 3h (20°C/ 50% rel. air)
  • Can be recoated with standard deep primer or coatings.
  • Recommendation: Stay within the system. Pre-treat the substrate and apply the final coat with FAKOLITH system products, e.g. FAKOLITH FK 5 pure acrylic paint with film protection against mould and bacteria.
  • No waiting times indoors after mould remediation with FAKOLITH FK 14. The rooms can be used again immediately.
  • Consumption: Approx. 100 ml/m²
