Antimicrobial coatings and paints

By providing antimicrobial materials in hygiene-relevant areas, the transmission of bacteria and viruses can be significantly reduced. Antimicrobial coatings are particularly useful in the food industry. Since the outbreak of the Sars-CoV2 pandemic, functional surface coatings have also become increasingly important in infection prophylaxis.

FAKOLITH produces paints and coatings that protect surfaces from microbial infestation using the BIO.FILM.STOP TECHNOLOGY. This means that the surface of the coating has an antiviral, bactericidal and – depending on the technology used – a fungicidal protective effect.
