Mould remediation with the FAKOLITH 3-phase system
The FAKOLITH 3-phase system has proven itself in the remediation of mould.
Phase 1 – Cleaning
With the FAKOLITH FK 12 cleaner, we remove toxic metabolic products in the first step. Musty, unpleasant odours are neutralised by the cleaning. Further cleaners available are FAKOLITH FK 39 for the treatment of red yeast and FAKOLITH FK 11 for the removal of greasy, oily soiling. Please note: Removal of mould in a dry state is strongly discouraged due to the risk of spore flight.
Phase 2 – Subsoil remediation
However, cleaning alone is not sufficient. It is important to stop the growth of fungal mycelium in the subsoil. The odourless anti-fungal solution FAKOLITH FK 14 penetrates deep into the substrate and reliably destroys the fungal mycelium. Alternatively, DISPERLITH PRIMER can be used if the substrate or the old coating needs additional consolidation. DISPERLITH PRIMER is a substrate restoration and deep primer in one product. You save one work step.
Phase 3 – Finishing coat
The dispersion paints DISPERLITH FK 5, DISPERLITH FK 10 or the quick renovation paint FAKOLITH FK 32 constantly form a reliable prophylaxis against renewed mould infestation. The professional paints are open to vapour diffusion, non-swellable and odourless. The selected combination of active substances creates a colour film with high qualitative and quantitative resistance against bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Professional analysis of mold samples
We offer you the examination and evaluation of samples taken from the object. The analysis of object samples provides information about the type of infestation, the quantitative assessment and an assessment of the risk posed by the infestation. We recommend using the test slide provided by us for this. You can find detailed information on laboratory analysis here.
