Avoid mould and bacteria infestation at all costs
Spores that have already formed in the substrate are not completely destroyed by cleaning. For this purpose, the application of an anti-fungal solution is necessary after cleaning the substrates. If possible, this work step should be carried out before or at the same time as setting up drying devices. During the dry-out phase, the substrate should remain as “open” as possible in order not to impair the capillary transport of moisture. We recommend removing substrates irreversibly damaged by the water, e.g. sheetrock, gypsum plaster and wallpaper.
