DISPAINT FOODGRADE – Highly durable hygienic coating (thin film varnish)

Intended use

DISPAINT FOODGRADE is a dispersion-based hygienic coating for interior surfaces that come into direct contact with food. DISPAINT FOODGRADE is certified according to VO(EU)10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for direct contact with food. The 1K dispersion coating is characterised by fast drying, low-odour processing, a very good substrate adhesion and a resilient surface. DISPAINT FOODGRADE is particularly recommended for surfaces that come into direct contact with food.

DISPAINT FOODGRADE is not recommended for rooms where there is a risk of mould growth due to high humidity (better: FK 45 FOODGRADE or DISPAINT HYGIENIC FORTE).

The GREEN-BIO.FILM.STOP-Technology protects the surface of DISPAINT FOODGRADE from virus and bacteria infestation.

  • Recommended by the Federal Association of Food Inspectors Germany e.V.
  • CE marking. Tested according to UNE-EN 1504-2:2005
  • Water-based and solvent-free
  • Low odour
  • Colour: White, tinting on request
  • Quick-drying
  • Brilliant white and highly opaque
  • Water vapour diffusion = SD 2,07m
  • Water absorption = W3 = 0,01kg/(m² x h0,5)
  • Opacity class 1 (5 m² /L)
  • Wet abrasion class 1 (DIN 53778)
  • Gloss level: matt (DIN EN 13 300)

Processing

  • Processing from + 4°C
  • Brush, roller or airless spray application
  • Drying time between coats approx. 1h, completly dry and fully loadable after 48h (20°C/ 60% rel. Air)
  • Water- thinnable
  • Consumption: Approx. 200-300 ml/m²
