What does BIO.FILM.STOP mean?

BIO.FILM.STOP is a technology protected by FAKOLITH trademark. BIO.FILM.STOP technology protects the film of FAKOLITH hygiene coatings from microbial infestation, the biofilm. Biofilm is a complex community consisting of bacteria, fungi, yeasts and protozoa. It also forms on smooth surfaces and poses a high risk of contamination for unpackaged food during ongoing production and storage processes. Hygienic coatings with BIO.FILM.STOP contain active ingredient combinations of encapsulated organic and inorganic active substances and offer a high level of protection of the colour film against mould, viruses and bacteria.

There are currently two BIO.FILM.STOP technologies that differ in function and effectiveness: GREEN-BIO.FILM.STOP technology protects the ink film from viruses and bacteria. The BLUE-BIO.FILM.STOP technology protects the ink film against mould, viruses and bacteria.

Hygiene coatings with film protection against viruses and bacteria are:
FK 45 FOODGRADE, FK 100 FOODGRADE, FAKOPUR FOODGRADE, DISPAINT FOODGRADE, DISPERLITH FOODGRADE

Hygiene coatings with film protection against mould, viruses and bacteria are:
FK 45 HYGIENIC FORTE, DISPERLITH ELASTIC, DISPERLITH INDUSTRY, DISPERLITH BASIC, DISPERLITH HYGIENIC, DISPAINT HYGIENIC FORTE.
